This is my first magazine cover. However, I am not very happy with the image and colour scheme so I will be changing this to something more appropriate.
Here is my second magazine cover. Which I am more pleased with. As you can see I have changed the cover-lines to make them fit more appropriately, along with the main colours red, connoting blood and gore. I also changed the main image as the victim of my trailer, as I thought it would be more effective and more conventional with her being covered in blood to suit the genre of my magazine.

Video One
For my first video I need to re-film the beginning and end and so it is incomplete. I also need to add voice-overs and more appropriate sound effects. I will also be considering the music of which is in it now.
Video Two
In my second video I have improved the sound and added more footage and voice-overs. However, I still need to re-film parts such as the beginning which I intend to be footage of traveling in a car, to create a sense of normality and the protagonist visiting his Uncle's storage to find the doll, with the intention to help my audience understand the films narrative.
Improvements;
- re-film Jake opening storage door and uncovering the doll
- film traveling in a car
- film Janet with the doll
- film Janet being beaten by her father
- possibly add more non-diegetic sound
I have completed the first two improvements and last improvement. I have also reconsidered my use of voice overs. I will be re-doing these and changing them. For my first voice-over which was previously; "So you're Uncle left you all his storage then?" to the protagonist to respond with "Yeah probably worthless old stuff" I will be changing to something that will portray the protagonists personality and also help to proceed with the narrative. For this introduction of the protagonist I have considered him explaining his life and how it is normal. An example is; "Day after day I repeat the same routine, get up shower, eat, go to work and go to bed. I occasionally hang out with my best friend Clare, which is all I can do to get by these days. Life is so over rated. I wish it could be as exciting as in the movies."

Clare - "1979 Girl was murdered by father. The father committed suicide a week later holding his daughters doll" "Oh my God that's the same doll!"
Clare - "Jake stop!"
Clare - "Destroy the doll"
Jake- "I keep hearing things its driving me crazy I cant sleep!"

Video Three
In my third video I have improved the sound effects, voice-overs and edited the music. However, I still need to re-film parts as I have changed the voice-overs to make my narrative clearer and need them to fit in with the footage.
